I tried to scan in some of the more recent drawing I've been doing and that can be found at http://drawing.stratt.com, I won't give a link though because some contain nudity. The newest scans all start 20080523-. Scanning is a friggin' pain. And non-photo repro blue pencils do not scan worth a crap, but I guess that's why they're called non-photo reproducible, eh. All I did was clean the pictures up a little from pencil rubbing and change the brightness, levels and contrast a bit to make them truer to the original. So, what I'm up to...Lots more drawing in preparation for animation and to keep my skills up, and lots of reading. Since I finally decided to finish my degree classes start again in a couple days. Straight A's last semester, I'm sure the summer will be much of the same, only easier now that I'm back in the groove.

Been doing a lot of video work, compositing, color correction and reading. Also working on storyboarding, story-telling and screenwriting, so not much physical work.

BUT I have started to do some simple animation work to get back to basics and improve on that over at blenderartists.org. I also began modeling a realistic human character but it's still very much a work in progress. She can be found here but I've already made quite a few improvements on the model and the textures so that work isn't really representative.

Wish I had more to write, but it has mostly been mental and learning, not much to show yet.

About me

I guess I don't have very much about me on here, so here's just a tad. I don't really intend this to be an art website, or to contain much videos, etc. Well, that plan kinda changed a little after I started pissing around with so much new software, and remembering all those things I did once upon a time.

All I planned to do is use this site to put what I have been teaching myself into practice so there are MANY unfinished works lying about here and there, I really should get them organized and set up some sort of structure to make navigation to them easier.

About the site

We are changing around a LOT of things, and this will keep changing for a little while. The links are similar as before, but what you will find different is that in the games section there is now a menu box in the upper right corner to pick the game and it will open in the iframe below the Stratt.com Banner. The movies link will work the same way. There are not currently any links listed, nor format figured out for that just yet, but I'm working on it. Also working on the RSS integration to get the feeds from other sites. I know there are already some out there, but I want to make sure it's right and it doesn't get too cluttered.

The stories link is similar to before as well. In fact, the old link is still active, but what we did, is change the layout to match the theme of the site. The wordpress link is still active as well, but I prefer to use that as more of a back end since comments tend to be limited to spam, plus it was much easier to do the layout using only a little spit and PHP.
