Probably my fault for not checking the backup, but I lost quite a bit of work. I still have most of the original files for the movies and the games are still intact, but the stories section is gone. I'm pretty sure I have the drawing materials saved somewhere, else I do have the originals that I can re-scan. Guess that's what I get for upgrading to an unknown hard-drive that failed after a month. Damn laptop hard drives, I've got three busted ones from computers that were made in the last 5 years, yet the 13-15 year old beast is still ticking strong. Something to be said for superior craftsmanship over cheap labor and parts, eh.

I should redesign the whole damn things, this wasn't really meant to be very permanent and I've kept it this way for over a year now, I think it might even be closer to two. All this time just learning how things work and making incremental improvements or changes. I can say though that I know more now than three or four years ago. Not that going back to school has had much to do with it, I probably would've learned more on my own and had more to show for it. I guess it will pay off in the end though.
